“Had a lovely stay at Delft Cottage.”

Exactly how it looks on the pictures, it's small but has everything you need for a few nights stay. Everything worked and there was milk and biscuits on arrival which was a really lovely touch and welcome. Really comfortable bed, can see that this cottage is well maintained and looked after. The only thing I would say which is very small is maybe the sofa cushion covers need to be taken off and washed as was a few stains on them. TV worked well but to be honest the weather was so nice we never really watched it. I can imagine this in winter months to be even more magical with the log burner etc it would be very cosy. Shower was clean and worked well, easy to adjust. It was nice to have a little welcome handbook and nice to see gas safe certificates etc. perfect location right in the heart of robin hoods bay, close to the front and lovely walking round all the little winding paths. Would definitely recommend and stay here again, maybe next time we would stay at this property in the cooler months to experience cosy night by the fire.

Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. I will order some new cushion covers for the cottage and send these off to our cleaners this morning. Property Owner

Quaint and characterful, this Robin Hood's Bay cottage offers an open plan living area with oak flooring, stripped pine cupboards and a beamed ceiling.

With a cast iron multi-fuel stove set in a stone and brick fireplace, this cottage in Robin Hood's Bay is warm and inviting, whilst the compact kitchen area boasts granite worktops and a Belfast sink.

About the location

ROBIN HOOD’S BAY

Whitby 6 miles; Scarborough 17 miles.

Robin Hood's Bay, with its narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages, is one of the most picturesque villages on the English coastline. Situated between Scarborough and Whitby, this charming old fishing village is to be found nestling at the edge of a wide sweeping bay backed by spectacular cliffs and dramatic moorland scenery, and was once home to author Leo Walmsley. All holidaymakers will love the beach and its cliff-top walks, whilst more serious walkers will enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks which all take in Robin Hood’s Bay. The village amenities are superb, with charming alleyways to explore and plenty of places to rest, relax and take refreshment. A perfect base for enjoying the Yorkshire Coast.
