Found you could hear tv or radio through walls from next door. The carpets slip want none slip ones. The back garden or whatever you call it is none existent, covered in green moss, wouldn’t want to sit at side of dustbins on a hot day. Cottage set in a good location.

Step inside into the sitting room, where you can unwind on the sumptuous sofa as the woodburning stove warms your toes.

Moving through the property, locate the contemporary kitchen, housing an electric oven and gas hob to whip up tasty meals and a washing machine so you don't have to pack your whole wardrobe.

For some fresh air step out into the small, rear patio and perch on the furniture to enjoy the final moments of the sun.

As the sky grows dark, retreat indoors, and climb upstairs to the first floor to find the shower room, where you can wash the day away.

The first floor also hosts a spacious king-size bedroom with storage to house your personal belongings and views of the charming street; offering antique stores and art galleries.

In the morning, make use of the kitchen facilities to conjure a home-cooked breakfast or a take a short stroll to a quaint café to let someone else do the cooking.

You'll be located on a historic high street in the heart of Bridlington, with architecture dating back to 1640, and impressive, traditional pubs to dine in such as The Lamp Restaurant, the Black Lion, and The Board Inn.

There is also a selection of small, independent galleries to explore and The Bayle Museum, a building dating back to the 1100s, now housing a selection of local artefacts and close to Bridlington Priory.

If you prefer cooking at home, there are supermarkets, convenience stores, and a local shop at the end of the road to stock up on essentials.

For more local attractions, scenic views of chalk-cliffs can be admired from Bridlington South Beach, where you can build sandcastles and enjoy an ice-cream on the attractive promenade.

Visit the Grade I Georgian house of Sewerby Hall & Gardens to marvel at landscaped gardens and wild-life lovers can spend the afternoon at Bridlington Animal Park.

Jump in the car to the seaside resort of Filey, test your swing at the golf course, explore the peaceful Glen Gardens and wander along the promenade to see a collection of art.

Why not spend the day at award-winning beaches in the traditional town of Scarborough, home to a medieval castle, fascinating aquarium, and an exciting water park for a splash?
