“The location is great for access to Bridlington harbour/shops & leisure facilities.”

Lovely view from the lounge window. The beds are comfortable and the flat was very clean. However, it is let down by poor maintenance. In the master bedroom the curtain rail defies gravity & is hanging on by a thread. The window looks like it has been put in the wrong way round & tilts inwards so when it rains the water runs into the room. The bathroom (a narrow wet room) has lifting grouting in the shower area which one ends up catching feet on. There is nothing provided for mopping up, only ...

There is nothing provided for mopping up, only a bath mat. After a shower, water is everywhere. It wouldn’t cost much to provide a mop/squeegee to make this task easier - or a curtain to help contain the water. In the kitchen the only items provided are a couple of UHT milks some tea bags, coffee and sugar sachets. Absolutely nothing else. If you plan to eat out or get takeaways then this may not be an issue. The oven & hob work well, the fridge has a tiny freezer compartment which sadly was completely iced up - this needs defrosting so the door can be shut. Adequate crockery, cutlery, mugs & glasses provided. Non stick oven trays were covered in tin foil as underneath surfaces were grim. However, no tin foil is provided to replace this. If you plan to cook bring everything with you. One loo roll, washing up liquid, one thin J-cloth, one tea towel & oven gloves are all that are provided in the kitchen. No towels are provided as mentioned in listing but be aware this includes no kitchen towel. Despite all this, we had a lovely week & managed with what was there (buying everything in) but wish we’d known in advance how basic things would be as we could have brought items from home. Parking was simple - I guess easier as we were out of season. There’s so much potential here, given some thought and TLC by the owners.

Thank you for your detailed review. We will see that the curtain rail and grout are repaired. Being self-catering, we do only provide basics in the kitchen, as mentioned. It is great to hear that you had a lovely week with us, and enjoyed the lovely views from the apartment windows! Regards Jamie Stuart Property Owner
