“We took the time to explore the detailed welcome pack provided by Jodie and Richard, which included a link to their cottages' dedicated website.”

This resource was packed with valuable information and proved to be incredibly helpful, allowing us to have a relaxing and memorable week as we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. While we had done some research beforehand, the welcome pack introduced us to more of the local region than we would have discovered on our own. This resource was packed with valuable information and proved to be incredibly helpful, allowing us to have a relaxing and memorable week as we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. While we had done some research beforehand, the welcome pack introduced us to more of the local region than we would have discovered on our own. The property is amazing, and although parking is on the street, it was close enough to easily transport our belongings into the cottage without any hassle. The cottage is finished to an extremely high standard, but it was the little touches that stood out the most. Cooking was a pleasure, with an easy-to-use stovetop and oven. While the kitchen has a small fridge, there is also a full-sized fridge with a freezer in the utility area, which was perfect for storing our champagne and wine. Locally, the pub next door was very cosy and offered affordable meal options. The friendly locals, who could clearly tell we weren’t from the area, were welcoming and made us feel completely at ease. We also visited Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay, both within an hour’s drive, as well as Castle Howard and Helmsley, which have some great shops to explore, even on weekdays. Anyone booking this property will not be disappointed
