Been before and loved it, it has everything we need and is really close to the train station as i dont drive and a lovely taxi service called ace to get to other places public transport doesn't reach and large supermarkets close by unfortunately for me with one adult child and a teenager we need 3 bedrooms now but if I ever wanted to escape on my own this is the place just relaxing with the patio doors open listening to the sea with a cup of tea

Good communication. Things that would be helpful: Advise there are 2 keysafe's as the one for Sandy Shore was not in immediate eyesight behind the refuse bins which caused a minor panic. Would be good to advise the number of steps up to property (33) so people can be more aware of the climb! Property itself was lovely, clean, spacious and has fabulous views. The recliner chairs and footstools were brilliant for taking in the fabulous views! Nice touch was the hand soap, washing up liquid, dishcloth and tea towel. Plenty of towels which was nice. Comfy bed was very welcome as I suffer with hip problems and am always a bit apprehensive when booking but no worries here! Thanks for a lovely stay. Would highly recommend.

“Firstly, the communication from the owner was incredible - from the moment I booked he made himself available for questions and provided clear and helpful advice which made arrival and accessing the property a breeze.”

The property itself is flawless - decor and furniture are very good quality, plenty of crockery and cutlery, and thoughtful touches such as the board games in the TV stand ensure a relaxed and comfortable stay. Spotlessly clean too. Location is stunning - on the South beach so beautiful big sandy stretches at low tide. No more than a few minutes walk to the marina where the fairground rides and Pavilion are. The swimming pool is a couple of minutes further along and is well worth it - the splash pool area and slides are great for kids. I cannot recommend this property enough.

Unfortunately, there was scaffolding all around the building completely spoiling this. Having said that, the apartment was clean( apart from a few cobwebs) and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and it’s situated only a short walk into the town. Take away the scaffolding and it’s perfect.

In a quiet part but only 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. The views are amazing...you could spend the day just looking through the window! “It's all been said before: great view and good location.”

It is easy to see why so many want to come back. Fascinating for people watching: the beach front is constantly busy from early morning with lots of dogwalkers as well as bin emptiers, beachcombers, tiktokkers, dancers, runners, detectorists, football practise and lifeboat drills etc. Also good for watching the sun rise. Kind lady in Flat 1 told us about the pub deal at the Premier Inn on the North side which was a good bit of advice and worth trying. There's no welcome tray so nearest shops for provisions are a short drive to Morrisons, Tesco or Lidl or a walk into town to a One-Stop shop. It's been a lovely place to stay and we're already missing the view.

Everything was spotless, nothing was left out with regard to making our stay as much a home from home as possible. Getting up in the morning and sitting by the Juliet balcony facing the sun making its way across the sea was so peaceful and beautiful. Steep stairs to the top flat was a bind, but we knew about that before we booked. Owner made contact prior to our arrival and told us he could be contacted at any time during our stay. Would defintely recommend to others.

“The ultimate seaside apartment!”

Sandy Shore is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay in Bridlington. The jewel in its crown is the huge window with a 'Juliet balcony', which - unlike an open balcony - can be enjoyed whatever the weather. The expression 'stunning views' is often over used, but in this case is entirely fitting. You are overlooking one of the finest sandy beaches you will find anywhere and have sight of the entire length of the bay, including the harbour. It might be a bit of a trudge up the stairs, but it's well worth it. The apartment is furnished to a far higher standard than is often found in English seaside towns and is very well equipped. The bedrooms are on the small side, yet very comfortable. A short walk takes you into Bridlington town centre, with all the usual seaside attractions. I know Bridlington well and can vouch for the fact that the off road parking is an invaluable extra, especially in the summer months when finding a parking spot can be nigh on impossible. This is an absolute gem. I have already made a second booking.

It was a walk into town which is easy, but far was enough away not to get disturbed. It provided a great opportunity and privilege to watch the RNLI on their practise night without leaving the very comfortable sitting room. Filey 10 miles; Scarborough 20 miles.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the spectacular heritage coastline. There are numerous places to visit in the area, including Bempton's RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves. A great area for bird and nature lovers, or simply for touring.
