The property

Nestled in the ever-popular seaside town of Whitby, in the Scarborough district of North Yorkshire, is the delightful, Stag Cottage.

Boasting a spacious open-plan living area, this charming retreat welcomes families and friends eager to break away from normality and enjoy North Yorkshire’s country and coast.

After parking up in the private driveway, step directly into the open-plan living area, wonderfully presented with exposed beams, feature chandeliers, and a brick fireplace, giving the room a real sense of character.

Set at the breakfast bar and keep the designated chef company whilst they get acquainted in the kitchen, before moving to the dining table where you can enjoy a hearty feast amidst your loved ones.

As the evening comes to a close, retire to either of the bedrooms, both presented with sumptuous en-suite facilities including a contemporary bath and walk-in shower enclosure, so you can decide how best to prepare for the day.

To the outside of this Whitby cottage is a small front patio where you can kick back after a long day and relish in the tranquil surroundings, pondering on where to explore next.

Home to so many great attractions, It’s easy to see why Whitby has become such a popular seaside resort; embark on a journey up the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey, before basking in the sun on Whitby’s glorious Sea Front where you can see the historic Harbour East Lighthouse in the distance, before scaling back into town to discover a wealth of museums.

Pack your seaside equipment and head to Runswick Bay beach, recently named ‘Best Beach of the Year’ 2020 by the Times, for a fun-filled day out with the family, taking a revitalising dip in the water, discovering wildlife in the rock pools and doing a spot of fossil hunting among the sands.

Resting on the outskirts of the popular resort of Whitby in North Yorkshire is this group of seven charming cottages. Boasting distant sea views as well as views of the iconic abbey, Broading Farm Cottages is a collection of seven properties offering something for everyone. Three of these properties boast a more traditional feel with character features such as wooden beams and brick fireplaces, while the others are much more contemporary with a more minimal style and neutral décor. Six of the seven properties are all on the ground floor, making them suitable for those with mobility issues, while the larger property, Whalebone Cottage is suited to a large family, sleeping eight guests. The properties lie just a mile from the centre of Whitby, where you can wander its winding cobbled streets and hidden alleys, discovering a wide selection of eateries, gift shops, restaurants, and pubs scattered amongst them.
