“Had a lovely holiday at Seaside House the location was fantastic just a short walk to the lovely beach.”

The house is spacious set over three floors, spotlessly clean and had everything that we could have needed. The bed and furniture was very comfortable also provided blankets to use for our dogs. Kitchen facilities were great as we like to cater for ourselves also has parking always a bonus. The owner even contacted us to tell us we were able to enter the property early. First time holidaying in Bridlington and we will definitely return to Seaside House great accommodation.

“Very comfortable and homely with everything we needed.”

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the property. We are going to return early May next year to Bridlington, but unfortunately this property is already booked up. One suggestion: a breadbin or cake tin would come in handy for storing bread/cake and a new small frying pan for frying eggs would also be handy. We are likely to come back to this property in the future.

“Beautiful clean home with all the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday.”

A lot of thought has gone into providing extra touches such as a welcome pack, prosecco and even little treats for the dog. The garden was great and got the sun most of the day. We enjoyed our glass of fizz on the decking!! Great location just 30 yards to the beach. Also a short walk into town which was a bonus. Highly recommend.

“We had a wonderful time staying at Seaside House.”

The location is perfect for the beach. Check in was simple. The house exceeded our expectations as it was so spacious and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need and a much appreciated welcome gift. The main bedroom was very big and easily fit a travel cot. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. Having two bathrooms was a big plus! We didn't get to use the garden as we were only there for 2 days but it looked lovely and was bigger than I expected. I would definitely recommend a stay at Seaside House.

“Surprisingly good weather for our week's stay which enabled us to do most of our exploring by foot.”

Owner sent local and property information in advance of our arrival. The accommodation was most comfortable, warm and quiet. The location was perfect for us. We visited the Old Forge in Sewerby for a very nice lunch. We also enjoyed a vegan lunch at the Nut and Nettle in Bridlington Old Town. My husband also participated in the Sewerby Park Run on our first morning. A great week - we hope to return.

“What a gem.”

50 meters. Plenty of places to eat & drink that are dog friendly as well in Bridlington highly recommend Salts restaurant for there fish & chips.. Beeches are really clean and with areas for dog walking plus plenty of very clean public toilet's along the Front & in the town ideal for spending the days on the beech. Will be defiantly staying here again

Clean and thought of dog owners with throws for the sofa (we took our own) and also a towel in case they got wet. The basket of tea, coffee, chocolate, biscuits and dog treats was a lovely touch. We parked up on the drive and only took the car out once for a visit to Whitby. Would definitely stay here again.

“The seaside house is a perfect house in a fantastic location.”

You walk out of the front door and you're a minute walk from the beach and maybe a 5 minute stroll to the shops and cafes. Supermarkets are a couple of minutes drive away. The house itself is modern, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The owners have thought of everything. We all agreed that the photos on the website don't do this house justice. !! Arrived at this gorgeous 3 storey house Friday 14th October. So spotlessly clean and so comfortable. Just along the road from the beach to walk our furbabies and a lovely walk into town. Calling into the local pubs that are dog friendly and very welcoming. Everything we needed for our weeks relaxing holiday no driving was a bonus. Gope to retrn soon 10 out of 10 to the owners. “We could not find any fault with the seaside house everything was there you need,spotlessly clean and lovely to look at, the only criticism was if your not a early riser the light does come flooding in main bedroom due to white blinds with no blackout however this didn't bother us but could with others.”

The owner contacted us on second day to make sure everything was OK and was very helpful. Overall this was a lovely stay and hope to return in the future if available.

Ideally located to explore the scenery of Flamborough Head, where we saw the seals and dolphins, Sutton Bank and Robin Hood Bay. Property was excellent and we wanted for nothing. We enjoyed self catering easily and eating out if we wanted. Much thought had been put into the renovation and deco of the house… tasteful n practical throughout. If we may make a suggestion that a couple of Pyrex or microwave dishes would be a bonus as we usually take along one homemade Curry Rendang to eat in our first night of holiday. Ownwer reachable via telephone in emergencies and responded so positively to help us out.. We hope to return as we did next t have time to enjoy the outdoor space! Well, the great outdoor space was a plenty and close by ie the Beach!! We hope to return.

The property

Set over three floors, Seaside House is a delightful, spacious house close to the beach in Bridlington, East Riding of Yorkshire.

Within easy reach of the town's fantastic amenities and attractions, this family-friendly cottage welcomes four guests and one well-behaved dog for a seaside escape.

Park up in the off-road parking space and spot the sparkling sea just at the bottom of the street, before stepping inside your home-away-from-home.

Head straight to the utility after a day at the beach to chuck sandy clothes and towels into the washing machine, with a handy extra fridge to store snacks, whilst the garage has plenty of space for bikes or kayaks.

Head upstairs to the first-floor living areas to relax and unwind with your loved ones; a spacious, contemporary kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, built-in microwave and fridge/freezer to prepare picnics and homecooked meals, whilst the dishwasher does the cleaning up for you.

Settle into the light-filled, Scandinavian style living/dining room to host family dinners around the dining table for four, before sinking into the plush sofas with your favourite film on the Smart TV.

On the second floor, two beautifully-finished bedrooms welcome you at the end of the day.

From your doorstep, a plethora of shops, eateries and bars await; Bridlington’s magnificent harbour is just a stroll away, with South Beach offering a large stretch of sand, whilst North Beach is an award-winning sand and shingle beach backed by the impressive Flamborough cliffs, promising to be a superb day out for the entire family.

Bridlington Spa is within walking distance, with its Art Deco ballroom, Edwardian theatre and fantastic views over Bridlington's South Bay; The Spa hosts a variety of concerts and theatre productions as well as popular events such as the Northern Soul weekend.

Also for a good family day out take a visit to the leisure centre with a splash zone and plenty of water slides to enjoy.

Lace up your hiking boots to explore Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast for spectacular white chalk cliffs, historic lighthouse towers and birdwatching, along with tranquil, sandy bays for picnics on the shore.

For golfers in the party take your pick from two golf courses, one in Bridlington and one in Flamborough.

Drive north to Filey and take a wander along Filey Brigg , a wildlife haven with panoramic sea views before stopping off in the town for fish and chips.

For a good day out, take a trip to Sewerby Hall and Gardens with its lovely gardens and zoo to enjoy as well as a tour of the Grade 1 listed Hall with it's Georgian and Edwardiann touches throughout.

The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities.
