“Nice place, just needs updating .”

More equipment in kitchen, gas fire not working, the first night the house heating was too low had to wrap up in lounge. Just needs a service on gas and electric, so everything works correctly ( gas fire not working, radiator have cold spots , ) could do with a information pack about how things work and what to do in area,

The property

A small Victorian seaside town, Hornsea offers something for everyone, from the avid fisherman to the shopping addict, you’re sure to find something for every family member to enjoy in this town in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Newbegin Cottage is a great family-friendly property, a mid-terrace at the heart of the bustling town with plenty of action around every corner.

Head into the property and abandon your bags in the sitting room then head out next door to the wine bar/café next door, owned by the owner of the property, indulge in a cool beverage after your family travels.

On returning back to the property, figure out who’s sleeping where, with one flexible zip/link bedroom downstairs.

Next to the ground-floor bedroom is a kitchen/diner, a spacious area with ample seating for the whole family to sit together over lunch and concoct a plan of action for the day ahead.

Once you are ready for the day, six of you upstairs and two down, gather on the sofas in the sitting room and flick through the tourist information leaflets to decide on your plan of action, whether this be a beach day, seeking tourist attractions or a drink at the pub, Hornsea offers it all.

Start your venture in the town itself, at the centre of the action no matter which way you walk up the street you’ll find something to do in the local area, we recommend heading to the coast and taking in the breath-taking scenery, with the famous landmark of the Trans Pennine Trail Gateway, it’s the perfect opportunity to walk the dog and get to know your surroundings, not forgetting to grab some fish and chips on your way up.

For even more luscious land, head further afield to the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast, with two golf clubs, the RSPB Bempton Cliffs Seabird Centre, and lots of lovely coastal eateries, it’s a lovely place to spend a day out on the coast of Yorkshire.

Newbegin Cottage is in a prime location for exploring the East Riding of Yorkshire, a brilliant place for a beachside summer holiday with fun-filled activities for all the family.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
