    “We had a lovely week, the cottage is very comfortable and well appointed, the bathrooms and bedrooms were excellent.”

    However it is important to point out a few issues the most important being the outside sewar stack from the upstairs toilet which is in a terrible state, and is in fact leaking into the back yard presenting a HEALTH AND SAFETY issue. The provision of more plates for example there are no large pasta type bowls, we found a large cooking pot lid but no pot. The rubbish bins were already full on our arrival making it difficult to recycle. Having said all that we had a very enjoyable stay at this ...

Enjoying close proximity to a wealth of must-see sights and attractions, including Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast and the bustling resort of Scarborough, Courtyard Cottage makes an excellent base from which to explore the delights of North Yorkshire.

Park up on the roadside and make your way inside this wonderful abode to begin your staycation, dusting off your sandy toes and unloading your belongings into the handy hallway upon entry.

A lengthy journey calls for rest, so kick back and unwind with a steaming cup of tea and a sumptuous spot in front of the television, gently warming your toes with the crackle of the woodburning stove in the cooler months.

As stomachs start to rumble, make your way into the well-equipped kitchen, where an elegant island takes centre stage, providing a sociable spot to share a glass of wine as the designated chef gets to work on preparing a hearty meal to be enjoyed in the adjoining dining room.

If you're not ready for the fun to end, carry the conversation outdoors and soak in the last of the evening sunshine with your favourite tipple in the enclosed rear garden, or head upstairs, pour in the bubbles and indulge in a blissful soak with a good book in hand in the bathroom.
