Resting on the edge of the breath-taking North York Moors National Park, is the small village of West Ayton. Visitors of the village will be charmed by the 14th-century castle, situated to the east of the village, along with a community centre, a surgery, a pub and a number of local businesses. Its twin village, East Ayton perches on the opposite side of the River Derwent, where you will find a larger selection of amenities.
