“The cottage and paddock are just what we need to keep our dog away from firework noise.”

Owner Kate is friendly and helpful. If a quiet, dog centred stay is your wish, this is the place to be.

A weekly general market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers’ markets. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it excellent countryside for walkers and cyclists. The impressive coastline is just 24 miles away, whilst the historic city of York is an 18 mile journey. A perfect base for touring the attractions of North Yorkshire.
