With the North York Moors and Howardian Hills AONB within easy reach, this cottage has been thoughtfully appointed for a family of four or walkers and cyclists keen to explore this spectacular region of England.

Two off-road parking spaces greet you on arrival, as well as a side patio with outdoor seating, ideal for relaxing with a cold beverage on summer evenings.

Step inside to find a homely sitting room with two cushioned sofas to sink into and watch the Smart TV, all by the warmth of the electric fire.

Moving through the cottage, farmhouse meets contemporary in the fully equipped kitchen, sure to please the family chef!

Rustle up hearty meals using the electric oven and hob, to be served at the table for four, while the washer/dryer and dishwasher are an added convenience for holidays with little ones.

There's plenty to do and see around Marton, with the market town of Kirkbymoorside a short drive away for convenience stores to stock up on essentials, traditional pubs, and Kirkbymoorside Golf Club.

Jump in the car and head south to Flamingo Land Resort in Kirby Misperton, sure to please the younger guests, or if that's not for you, spend the day in Pickering.

This historic market town sits on the doorstep to the North York Moors with Beck Isle Museum, the 13th-century Pickering Castle, and Pickering Millennium Wood being just some of the attractions!

Helmsley is another must visit where Helmsley Arts Centre, the 900 year-old Helmsley Castle with a fascinating sculpture garden, and The Vinehouse Cafe at Helmsley walled Garden offer something for all tastes.

Beadlam Grange Farmshop and Tea Room is on your way and an excellent stop off for local produce.

Venture further into the North York Moors for an abundance of historic attractions and unspoilt countryside to ramble through; the National Trust's Nunnington Hall, Duncombe Park, and the 11th-century ruins of Rievaulx Abbey are all within reach of your holiday home!

Further afield, you'll find Malton and the historic city of York with plenty of attractions to choose from.

This historic market town, with its full range of amenities and traditional shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, serves as the official gateway to the beautiful North York Moors National Park, home of the Heartbeat countryside. Enjoy a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway, where Harry Potter fans can even explore some of the locations used in the filming of The Philosopher’s Stone!
