“Lovely warm and cosy cottage, ideal for a short break.”

Had everything we needed and in a great location. The only minus point were the pillows which were lumpy. The accommodation was beautifully furnished and we appreciated the hot and powerful shower.

Set all on the ground floor, the property has been renovated to a high-standard with contemporary fittings and furnishings, perfectly suited for couples looking for a quiet country retreat.

Enter the homely open-plan living space into a kitchen, dining area and sitting room all with muted green walls and laminate floors.

The kitchen has all the appliances needed for cooking up some delicious meals; gas oven and hob, fridge and microwave with an adjacent dining area to enjoy a sociable evening over a home cooked meal.

During quieter evenings step through the doors into the rear enclosed patio where you can sit and relax in the warmth of the afternoon sun or curl up on the sofa and unwind in front of the TV before retiring to the tastefully furnished double bedroom.

While you're in the area, take a long walk with your canine companion through the glorious East Yorkshire countryside or along the Leven Canal to the local fishing ponds and then return to delight in the spacious shower room of the Robin’s Nest for a long soak at the end of the day.

Wander from the property to the local butcher or grocery shop in the nearby villages of Leven or Brandesburton or linger a little longer with a meal out; Italian or Chinese, or perhaps something more traditional from the village pub or fish and chip shop.

Indulge in the rich history of the ancient market town of Beverley less than 7 miles away, boasting the beautiful Beverley Minster and Treasure House Gallery as well as a multiplex cinema, theatre and leisure centre.

For those seeking sea and sand the thriving coastal town of Hornsea, less than 7 miles away, boasts the largest natural inland lake in the country and is an excellent choice for a relaxing afternoon playing beach games or a picnic on the golden sands.

Robin's Nest Cottage is the ultimate choice for experiencing the very best of country and coast.
