Keen walkers will appreciate an abundance of trails that can be found close by, both along the Marine Drive and Cleveland Walk, whilst the younger members of your party are guaranteed to be excited by a trip to the popular seaside resort of Scarborough, with its sandy beaches, painted beach huts and donkey rides.

Stroll along the promenade, enjoy the ornamental gardens, or dine in one of the many excellent restaurants to refuel before continuing on to the historic market towns of Whitby or Malton, both offering plenty to see and do.

Alternatively, take a trip on the North York Moors Steam Railway, which puffs its way from Pickering to Grosmont through the spectacular scenery of the heather clad moors.
