    “Beach side apartment has provided a fabulous holiday home .”

    Great for walking on the beach, along the sea front or into town, perfect for kids or dogs . It was so peaceful, and amazingly for March , sunny and quite warm so we were able to enjoy a coffee on the balcony while people watching and looking out to sea . The apartment was so clean, comfy & had everything we needed and more. The owners have made it a home from home so you feel so relaxed and cozy. Great WIFI and really good TV (and one in each bedroom) The views are fabulous .The bathroom ...

Practically next door is Floral Cafe where they do lovely breakfasts ,the Marine pub just across the road and the just a short walk away the Sea Front Chippy too. Car parking is good, it's right next to the property. Our hosts were available if we needed them ( although they had thought of everything) We will definitely be back next year .

HORNSEA

Bridlington 15 miles.

The pretty seaside town of Hornsea lies on the East Coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This old Victorian resort has long, wide, safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade with well-kept gardens, ideal for families. The bustling town centre has an old-fashioned feel with a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes, whilst nearby Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest mainland puffin populations in Britain. Hornsea is near to Wassand Hall and walled gardens and provides a good base for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and the East Riding coastal resorts. The historic city of York, Beverley with it's famous gothic minster and The Deep at Hull are within an easy drive.
