“Lovely traditional cottage, in the perfect location to enjoy this stunning village - just a couple of minutes to the beach and wonderful walks from our doorstep.”

Lots of places to visit nearby and so many dog friendly places to go. We were happy that most of the basic necessities were provided and beds were comfortable, we ate out most days but we were able to cook the odd meal and breakfasts in the compact, but well thought out kitchen. The only ebi would be for better directions to the cottage to help other guests find it - the directions mention a tea shop as a landmark that is no longer there. Thankfully we found a helpful shop owner who knew the area well. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would come back again.

Providing traditional and comfortable accommodation, this Robin Hood's Bay cottage is perfect for couples or small families wishing to explore the dramatic coastline and the North York Moors National Park.

Quaint and characterful, this Robin Hood's Bay cottage offers an open plan living area with oak flooring, stripped pine cupboards and a beamed ceiling.

With a cast iron multi-fuel stove set in a stone and brick fireplace, this cottage in Robin Hood's Bay is warm and inviting, whilst the compact kitchen area boasts granite worktops and a Belfast sink.

Steep, winding stairs in this Robin Hood's Bay cottage lead up to a charming country-style double bedroom, with the second floor home to a twin bedroom.

A minute's walk through the cobbled, narrow streets brings you to inns, tea rooms and gift shops, whilst the beach, with its rock pools and coves, is a delight for both young and old.

At the top of the village, the Cleveland Way cliff-top walking trail offers spectacular views, while The Cinder Track disused railway runs for 23 miles and can be enjoyed by cyclists, walkers and horse riders.

About the location

ROBIN HOOD’S BAY

Whitby 6 miles; Scarborough 17 miles.

Robin Hood's Bay, with its narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages, is one of the most picturesque villages on the English coastline. Situated between Scarborough and Whitby, this charming old fishing village is to be found nestling at the edge of a wide sweeping bay backed by spectacular cliffs and dramatic moorland scenery, and was once home to author Leo Walmsley. All holidaymakers will love the beach and its cliff-top walks, whilst more serious walkers will enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks which all take in Robin Hood’s Bay. The village amenities are superb, with charming alleyways to explore and plenty of places to rest, relax and take refreshment. A perfect base for enjoying the Yorkshire Coast.
