“The cottage was really pretty, very clean and tidy and smelt lovely when we arrived, so clean and fresh!”

The beds were comfy and the shower was hot and towels were fluffy and clean. Decor and artwork were in keeping with the style of the property and the TV was a good size. The ONLY reason I've marked down by 1 point on the listing accuracy, is I think it should be mentioned about the very steep and potholed lane up to the property. Some cars wouldn't make it up there, so there needs to be some kind of prior warning before arrival. Thankfully we went with our friends in their estate car, but ...

Thankfully we went with our friends in their estate car, but our lower sports car would have struggled. In other feedback comments we'd make are: a) There is no cupboard space for food. We were okay, we didn't buy much in but if a family wanted food for everyone, there's no room to store anything other than the fridge and freezer. We had to leave our food on the worktops, which meant there wasn't much space for preparing breakfast, and we didn't have much. b) Although the latch internal doors were quaint and suited the decor, the latches were very loud and hard to open, and some wouldn't shut from the outside of the room. Tricky when you have to go to the loo during the night and wake everyone up opening/closing doors. But generally, we thought it was a lovely cottage, great layout, good heating/hot water and would recommend.
