“Location of property is excellent, close to beach and seafront, lovely view from rear of property overlooking the harbour.”

Parking is difficult at times due to limited spaces in parking bays on streets nearby, although parking permits are useful. The accomidation was well appointed and kitchen area was good. Parking is difficult at times due to limited spaces in parking bays on streets nearby, although parking permits are useful. The accomidation was well appointed and kitchen area was good. House in need of a good clean as there was spiders webs all over the house and not only on difficult to reach areas. Under furniture was filthy and had obviously not been cleaned for months. Decor was adequate but would benefit from a paint job as starting to look tired. The bedrooms were of a good size and had plenty of storage space, comfortable beds. Toilets and showers good. The accommodation is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as stairs to upper floors are very narrow and steep. Also moving from the living areas to the conservatory there are two steep stairs which can be dangerous to small children and elderly persons. The rear garden is very small and was overgrown with weeds. Living area is also small for a property that sleeps eight. Two small individual living rooms both of which only seat 4-5 people, not ideal if eight people wish to be together. Also only one small TV in the property again not ideal if children want to use PlayStations or watch child programmes when adults may wish to watch other channels. Also the security of the property is compromised by the latches on the rear patio doors not being secure and some broken. This property could be so much better if a little more effort was put in to maintaining the standards of other Sykes properties I have booked
