Enjoying the coast in Scarbrough, North Yorkshire is this fantastic, semi-detached holiday home of North Beach Lodge. Catering to a large family or group of 16, North Beach Lodge's accommodation is spread over three floors, and is tastefully furnished throughout, whilst offering everything you'll need for a self-catered stay. When arriving at the property, you'll discover four off-road parking spaces with a handy electric charging point resting to the front of the property.

Climb the steps and head inside to find the stylish sitting room, a space that seats up to eight people and offers a range of entertainments, from a selection of books to a 50 inch Smart TV with a DVD Player plus a huge range of DVDs; the space additionally boasts an open flame gas fire, so you can keep warm and feel cosy in the cooler months!

North Beach Lodge offers more spaces to unwind in, with a garden room giving access to the hot tub resting on the ground floor which boasts an additional 50 inch Smart TV and a snug being situated on the first floor, where you can stretch out on the sofa in a quieter space, whilst the den can be found on the second floor that is perfect for the teenagers looking for a chill-out spot away from the group.

When you start to feel hungry, continue through the property to find the well-presented and amply-equipped kitchen, this space is not only stylish but offers a fantastic range of appliances, including electric double ovens, a large 5 zone induction hob and a dishwasher. Just off the kitchen is the utility room, a space which conveniently provides you with your laundry facilities, along with a handy microwave! When the chef of the group has whipped up a mouthwatering meal, gather the group around the dining table, which has enough seating for all, and enjoy dinner as you catch up on the day's adventures.

After dinner, why not venture out to the patio and sink into the bubbling hot tub, or maybe venture upstairs to the first-floor games room for a game of table football, or perhaps a more traditional board game. As the day comes to an end, choose one of the property's eight well-appointed bedrooms to rest in, with two located in the extension that consist of two tastefully furnished doubles which enjoy access to the nearby, family bathroom The main house hosts the rest of the bedrooms, with all of these boasting TVs and comprising of: on the first floor, a fabulous double adjoined with en-suite shower room enjoying large bay windows ,an additional double featuring en suite shower and WC plus an in-room basin, and a gorgeous twin with an en-suite shower room and WC plus an in-room basin.

The second floor in the main house includes: another beautiful double with en-suite shower room and a pretty front aspect, an additional double featuring en suite shower and WC plus an in-room basin and a further twin with an in-room basin and en-suite shower room.

The property's interior is completed by two cloakrooms, one of which is on the ground floor and the other of which is situated just off the snug on the first floor, for extra convenience!

Make the most of the sunny weather in the warmer months and sit out on the first-floor terrace, where alfresco meals can be enjoyed amid the sea breeze.

There is plenty to see and do in Scarborough and this property is located just a 10 minutes’ walk from North Bay Beach, Scarborough North Bay Railway, Peasholm Park, the Open Air theatre and Scarborough Cricket Club plus there is an array of additional family-friendly attractions, such as Alpamare UK and SEA LIFE; the Victorian resort additionally enjoys access to long stretches of beautiful beaches, where anything from surfing to sunbathing can be enjoyed.

History buffs can enjoy exploring Scarborough Castle, those wanting to watch live performances will benefit from a visit to the Open Air Theatre, whilst the walkers of the group can embark on a trek along the Cleveland Way or Peasholm Park; whatever you wish to do with your time, be sure to finish off the day at one of the town's ample eateries, including the renowned Giannis Italian Restaurant.

Why not travel northward to Whitby, home to the famed 199 Steps which lead up to Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's 'Dracula', along with the Cinder Track Walk and the gorgeous Whitby Sea Front.

There is still so much left to see in this part of Yorkshire, with the idyllic, coastal villages of Filey and Robin Hood's Bay within easy reach, along with the fantastic locations of Pickering and York offering fun-packed days out.

Popular since Victorian times, the vibrant seaside town of Scarborough retains many of its original fine buildings, parks and gardens, as well as its historic castle which overlooks the town. North Bay and South Bay provide two superb stretches of beautiful, golden sandy beaches, popular with families and small children. There are a number of child friendly activities and many excellent visitor attractions for grown-ups too, including the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough Spa and Scarborough Open Air Theatre for live music. Scarborough is a great location for outdoor activities, with golf courses, lovely coastal walks along the Cleveland Way, stunning cycle routes such as the old railway to Whitby, beautiful sailing and championship quality surfing. Add to this all the usual seaside entertainment and bustling promenades located close to the beach and Scarborough is the destination with something for everyone. Ideally situated for touring the coastline and the moors, Scarborough is an ideal base for a fun-filled break.
