“We had a wonderful holiday with friends in the Lodge.”

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Hot tub was clean and warm, both kids and adults enjoyed their time there. Just a few points to make guests staying experience much better; one of the toilets downstairs was blocked and not available for use. This caused some discomfort for 15 people as they had to wait for toilet availability. We bought extra basket of wood for the woodburner but location of it wasn't mentioned anywhere. It could have been communicated by the property owner in advance ...

It could have been communicated by the property owner in advance. The house keylocker password was given wrong. People who first arrived to the house had to wait outside for the call back from property owner to be able to access to the house. There weren't any kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, oil. Some of the kitchen tools like pans were quite old and scratched. Other than these, we were very happy with our stay at the Lodge. We were able to reach out to the contacts who helped us out with our questions. Thank you for your support.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. The hot tub is always a firm favourite with our guests so I'm delighted to heat that you had a chance to enjoy it! I've checked the correspondane from myself and Sykes and the key code given was correct so you should have been able to gain entry upon arrival easily. As the property is self catering we would expect guests to bring kitchen essentials but thank you for mentioning it so I can make this clear to future guests to bring things like this themselves. Unfortunatly the issue with one of the downstairs toilet scouldn't be fixed immediatly, and even though there is an additional 3, 1 on each floor that can be used, I appreciate this was an inconvienience. It is now fixed It sounds like these issues didn't spoil your stay too much and that you had a good time. Best Wishes Julie Property Owner
