The property

Resting in the coastal village of Cayton, with local amenities and a wonderful sandy beach, Finch 47 is a well-presented family lodge ideal for those looking to explore the coast and countryside of North Yorkshire.

Park off-road beside the property and unpack with ease, making your way into a wonderfully light and airy open-plan living area with contemporary grey décor and tasteful furnishings.

Here you can curl up in the corner sofa and enjoy a good book, or make the most of the glass double doors, opening them in the warmer months to let in the sea breeze and to head out onto the great decking area to enjoy a glass of your favourite beverage.

The kitchen hosts a selection of amenities to assist with cooking, and you can enjoy a meal together at the dining table.

Freshen up with a warming soak in the bath before settling down into either a double or a single bedroom.

Cayton is a great little seaside village offering a local pub, convenience store and easy access to a picturesque sandy beach, ideal for walking, watersports or wild swimming.

The town is within a short distance of the North York Moors National Park and North Riding Forest Park, great for immersing yourself in the scenery and enjoying a hike or mountain biking amongst the wildlife.

Head over to the seaside resort of Scarborough to find out more about the local history of North Yorkshire in the local museum, art gallery and of course the impressive Scarborough Castle towering above the coast.

The town also sports arcades, a beach, a golf course, a pretty harbour and of course many tasty eateries and independent shops.

There are extensive walks along the coast of North Yorkshire, including one from Scarborough to Hayburn Wyke Waterfall, as well as more beaches at Wilsthorpe and Bridlington Animal Park.
