    “We were very happy and comfortable with our short break at Fern House.”

    Will hopefully be back next year for another stay. Little concern regarding part of ceiling in dining area and maybe a little spruce up of front of house. Owners should be proud of the way their holiday home is presented.

You will be amazed by the interior's spaciousness, which is not immediately obvious from the outside but nevertheless enables you to unwind and rest with your loved ones in all the cosiness of a tastefully furnished vacation house.

The spacious bay window in the sitting area provides great natural light bringing out the quality of the rooms furnishings and ensuring a warm welcome.

Stream your favourite music through the sound bar or settle into one of the comfortable, plush sofas to watch a film of your choice on the smart TV.

Enter the dining area through the archway and enjoy a lovely lunch together.

A full feast will be prepared in the adjacent, fully equipped kitchen.

After a day of exploration, once you are completely relaxed, go upstairs to the three bedrooms.

The master suite has a super king-size bed and an adjacent en suite, while the king-size double and twin share a family bathroom.

Enjoy a cool beverage and a sunny afternoon in the enclosed rear garden while soaking up the coastal ambiance.

Spend a day at the beach, eating fish and chips or a game of pitch & put mini golf, then climb the renowned 199 stairs to the mediaeval abbey while admiring stunning coastline views from the summit.

Take a stroll along the harbour, board a boat and go whale watching, or go for a sunset stroll along the pier to the lighthouse.

The town centre also boasts a wide selection of pubs, shops, restaurants, cafes and local galleries.

Six miles away is Robin Hood's Bay, a broad, sweeping bay surrounded by breathtaking cliffs and stunning moorland landscape.

There, walkers may enjoy beach and cliff-top strolls, and prominent sights include the museum and the Old Coastguard Station, which is maintained by the National Trust.
