The property

Anchor Cottage is a beautiful, terraced cottage located in the heart of Whitby's beach town.

This pet-friendly property welcomes families, friends, and their canine companions to the beach, bars, and shopping just steps away.

Before crossing the threshold into the light sitting room, find a parking spot along the roadside and relax on the sofa or armchair with a cup of tea.

Stairs lead from here to the lower-ground-floor kitchen/diner.

Please note that the stairs are steep so please take extra care when going down or up them.

Once in the kitchen, you will find a range cooker, separate fridge and freezer, washer/dryer, and dishwasher to do the cleaning for you.

Take a seat at the dining table beneath the vaulted ceilings and dive into hearty meals while reminiscing about your activities thus far.

After a day of visiting North Yorkshire, retire to the first floor for a relaxing soak in the tub or a fast shower in the overhead shower.

There is a second-floor double with vaulted ceilings .and a first-floor double with bedside lamps where you may enjoy a bedtime read.

Get ready for the exciting day ahead with a morning brew and home-cooked breakfast in the kitchen/diner.

After learning about the town's maritime history at Whitby Museum, take a stroll down the beautiful Whitby Beach.The beaches are sandy and golden and the pretty harbour with its famous swing bridge is edged with stylish wine bars and award-winning restaurants.

Walk along Church Street and have brows of all the local shops have to offer, then climb up the 199 steps and see the sunset over the sea and view Sandsend beach on a clear day.

Visit Robin Hood's Bay, a charming fishing community that has been recognised as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

With its lovely harbour, small alleyways, and picturesque houses, the hamlet is a popular tourist destination.

The National Trust Coastal Centre, as well as the Old St Stephen's Church, are must-sees.

The Wayfarer Bistro is one of the best restaurants and bars in the area.

Take a trip to the seaside town of Scarborough for a fun-filled day, where you can stroll along the gorgeous seashore, indulge in some retail therapy in the town centre, or visit one of the numerous attractions on offer, like Scarborough Castle, SEA LIFE Scarborough, and Oliver's Mount Racing.
