The property

Enjoy a relaxing stay at Anchors Away, a contemporary, second-floor apartment in Whitby, North Yorkshire, near to the seaside and the River Esk, and only a short walk from the town centre and beach. The apartment is tastefully decorated throughout, providing a stylish atmosphere for a family of four on a coastal vacation in Yorkshire.

You will be met with private parking for one car upon arrival, ensuring a stress-free start to your vacation!

As you enter this lovely property, you'll be greeted by a fantastic living/dining room, complete with a bucket chair and a La-Z-Boy reclining sofa where you can relax in front of the Smart TV with Freeview; the area also has a lovely dining table where you can gather the group and tuck into delicious meals.

These dishes can be prepared in the kitchen, which has a lot of built-in appliances, including a dishwasher!

Retire to one of two lovely bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, in the evening; both bedrooms have storage and dressing tables for added convenience.

The family bathroom is close by, and it has a bath with a shower over, so you can relax after a day of fun on the beach. In Whitby's centre, you'll find everything from well-stocked stores to a plethora of cafes/restaurants/bars, as well as a plethora of attractions, including the historic Whitby Abbey, which can be reached via the legendary 199 Steps, The Cinder Track walking track, and the fascinating Whitby Museum.

Travel south along the coast to Scarborough, where you can see Scarborough Castle and the Rotunda Museum, as well as the thrilling attractions of Alpamare UK, SEA LIFE, and the Scarborough North Railway.

Travel North to Guisborough for an expedition in the countryside, where you can immerse yourself in the local history at the Guisborough Museum and Priory, before venturing to the picturesque Guisborough Forest or the North York Moors National Park, which includes the wonders of Roseberry Topping and High Cliff.

Continue along the Cleveland Way to see even more seaside towns, from Staithes to Robin Hood's Bay, or go deeper into the North York Moors to see the breathtaking landscape of moorland, woodlands, and magnificent valleys.
