The property

This well-presented detached modern property, is situated in a quiet residential area on the edge of the historic port of Whitby, yet only a fifteen-minute walk to the centre.

Furnished and decorated to a high standard, it provides the perfect holiday home for families or friends to spend time together in this beautiful part of the country.

Downstairs, is a bright and airy open plan living space, with a contemporary kitchen, dining area and comfortable sofas, with the luxury of underfloor heating.

Large windows overlooking the rear garden, throw in plenty of sunlight, giving a lovely ambience to this charming holiday home.

In the hallway is a convenient ground floor cloakroom, while stairs lead up to the three tasteful bedrooms, one with the added benefit of an en-suite shower, whilst the other two share a family bathroom.

Outside, there are small sheltered gardens to the front and rear, enabling you to catch the sunshine all day long, or relax with a glass of wine in the early evening.

With private off road parking for two cars, guests won't be disappointed with their choice of accommodation.

An easy walk brings you into this atmospheric seaside town, with its quaint narrow streets and alleyways, long sandy beaches and cobbled market square.

Climb the 199 steps up to the famous Abbey perched on the cliff top, with panoramic views along the coastline, or take an invigorating walk from here along the Cleveland Way.

Diners will be spoilt for choice with the abundance of good restaurants, fabulous tea rooms and wonderful fish and chips, whilst many of the local inns serve real ale.

Why not book a fossil hunting trip, or take an evening ghost walk for something a little different?

The spectacular surrounding scenery of the North York Moors is ripe for exploring, with walking and cycling opportunities for all abilities.

Enjoy a trip back in time on the Steam Railway at Grosmont, visit the Danby Moors Exhibition Centre or discover the pretty coastal villages of Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay.
