    “Laridae is a lovely house.”

We were pleasantly surprised on arrival, the house is very spacious, well maintained and comfortable. We were 2 couples sharing so 2 cars but no real problems finding on street spaces not too far away for both cars even on such a busy weekend. The steep hill back up from town is a bit of a struggle if you have mobility issues or shopping to carry but at only £5 for a taxi, we saved our energy. Our only complaint was the heating which was set at a maximum 18 degrees and couldn't be increased, even though it felt much cooler. Late afternoon it got quite chilly and as we wanted showers before heading out for the evening, it would have been nice to just have a short burst of heat whilst we got ready. We had a lovely long weekend and would definitely book Laridae again, thank you.
