“Whilst this property is spotlessly clean and the owners are friendly and helpful, the main drawback is its lack of natural light.”

This along with the monotone grey decor in the lounge, makes for very dull days when the weather is too bad to venture out ( Agree no- one can do anything about that!) It needs stronger artificial lighting, an injection of colour to make it look less like a dentists’ waiting room and the eyesore of the redundant fireplace needs a bright fire screen to cover it. There are no views from the property itself only from the grounds of the main hall. The ivy covering the outside needs cutting back, as it overhangs the front bedroom window and encroaches in the main doorway. Facilities good except the kitchen needs more cutlery - with 4 people staying, it is possible to run out during one meal. The surrounding area is a joy when the weather is good - Stokesley is a lovely town, and views from the Cleveland Hills are spectacular on a clear day.

Dear Kevin, thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with some constructive feedback, we really appreciate it. We will take on board your comments regarding the decor. Incidentally, the ivy was cut back shortly after you departed. Kind regards, Pamela and Neil Property Owner
